Not to mention the savings in isk. Thats a spare 8-10k per death you won't be spending on a basic non-militia suit. Slight edge in fitting and gameplay, HUGE advantage over time for the bank account.

I also agree with the OP. I am a fairly dedicated vehicle pilot in this game, and when piloting dropships, I rarely die because of the option of bailing before impact. It's not balanced for the AV guys that actually manage to take us out. Maybe ...
